Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ZevCloud, a cloud platform operated by ZevOP Technologies ("we", "us", "ZevCloud"). By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The short version

• Be fair to other users and to us.
• Don't break the law with your workloads.
• Pay your invoices on time so we can keep the lights on.
• We can suspend services that violate the rules — see the Acceptable Use Policy.
• You own your code and data; we host them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract. If you're using ZevCloud on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you're authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Your account

You access ZevCloud through a ZevID account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at security@zevcloud.net if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Plans, billing, and refunds

All plans are billed in Naira (NGN) via ZevPay. Subscription charges renew automatically until you cancel. Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once submitted to the registry, since we incur registry fees on your behalf.

For monthly subscription services (Apps, Databases, WordPress, Sites), you can cancel any time and you won't be charged for the next billing cycle. Pro-rated refunds for the current cycle are at our discretion.

5. Your content

You retain all rights in the code, content, and data you deploy or store on ZevCloud ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, back up, and display your Customer Content as required to operate the service.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of ZevCloud is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. We can suspend or terminate services that violate the AUP, with or without notice depending on severity.

7. Service availability and SLAs

We strive for 99.9% uptime across paid plans and publish status at status.zevcloud.com. Specific SLA credits, where available, are detailed in your plan's documentation. The free tier is provided as-is without SLAs.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms or the AUP, after reasonable notice where practical. On termination, we delete your Customer Content within 30 days unless you've exported it or asked us to keep it for a defined transition period.

9. Disclaimers and liability

ZevCloud is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except where required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll email account owners 30 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
